Last night we welcomed some new members to our groups. Nancy Rast (who joined the church Sunday at the 9:30 service) is joining us in the clarinet section in the orchestra and Lanan Jones is joining the Soprano 1s in the choir. We are thrilled to have these ladies join us in music ministry. Please make them feel welcome (though you already are—I’ve seen it. Ya’ll sure excel in being welcoming.
Sunday we will sing/play “Mercy Tree.” Our rehearsal times are orchestra and praise team at 8:30 and choir warm-up in the loft at 9:10. I’m looking forward to worship; I hope you are.
As I mentioned last night, our schedule will be relatively normal for the next few weeks. On May 20th, the youth choir will sing, but other than the choir not singing for those morning services, the rehearsal schedule and morning schedule is basically the same. Orchestra will play all services, of course! We continue to learn new music and review others, so be here when you’re available.
