Thursday’s Thoughts from Will 03.11.2021

We had a great choir rehearsal/recording session last night. So great to have many of you back with us last night. We had 56 last night, which is almost back to where we were in the fall. I hope our numbers continue to rise as vaccinations rise. Just so you know, I’m scheduled for my first dose Sunday afternoon.

Starting this coming Wednesday the 17th, our choir and orchestra rehearsals will resume our normal schedule–Orchestra rehearsal from 5:45-6:45 (YES, we’re learning new music!) and Choir from 6:45-8. Here is our schedule for the next several weeks:

March 17th- Orchestra at 5:45-6:45; Choir from 6:45-8
March 24th-Orchestra at 5:45-6:45; Choir from 6:45-8
March 31st- Orchestra at 5:45-6:45; Choir from 6:45-8
April 14th- Orchestra at 5:45-6:45; Choir from 6:45-8
April 21st- Orchestra at 5:45-6:45; Choir from 6:45-8

I do not have a firm date of when the choir will return to the choir loft, but my guess is April 25th. Don’t write that down just yet though! I’ll be doing a google form survey next week to gauge the choir interest for when to start back.

Also, thank you to the folks who have been sitting in the choir loft. I appreciate you all willing to free up some space for others on the floor.

Singers: be thinking about your interest in auditioning for Praise Teams—I’ll be setting up some times in late May/early June. Let me know if you have some interest when the time comes.
