Thursday’s Thoughts from Will 12.06.18

While the choir had a nice break from rehearsals last night, our orchestra was busy working on music (new and old) for our Candlelight service on Dec. 23rd. I hope you plan to attend this service; it’s a wonderful time of worship each year.

Our news will be significantly reduce in the next few weeks since CIC is over. Here’s what you need to know today:

  1. Choir and orchestra will sing/play in all Sunday morning services in the month of December. Please arrive at 8:30 (orchestra and assigned Praise Teams) or 9:10 (Choir) for warm-up.
  2. Choir will RESUME rehearsals on Wednesday, January 9th.
  3. Orchestra rehearsals will continue until December 19th, but we’ll take the 26th and January 2nd off from rehearsals.  Orchestra, I will provide a call-time for the Candlelight service once I get a better grasp on how much time we’ll need before the service. Since the service is at 6 pm, I’m going to tentatively say 4:30 pm for the jazz group and 5 pm for the rest of the orchestra.
