Great rehearsals last night. Our Youth Choir had their first rehearsal of the season and we had record attendance. In fact I may have to order more scores for them because their attendance exceeded by expectations. These are exciting times!
Last Sunday evening, we had our first CIC rehearsal and while we were flying fast through all the music we could get through, I’m pleased with how things are already shaping up. Thank you for always striving to be your best. Continue to listen to the recordings; it really makes a difference in our rehearsals.
Sunday we are singing/playing “By Our Love.” Orchestra and praise team will begin at 8:30 and Choir at 9:10.
Outfits for CIC…This year all men will wear a long- sleeved black shirt and burgundy tie and black pants. The cost for the shirt will be in the $20 range. Mark Limmer will contact you about getting your sizes. I’ll verify the cost of the shirt and I’ll let you know.
All returning women are to wear the black tops and skirts that we’ve worn in the past..
We will order blouses for new folks as needed, so please let Jo Forrest and Pat Kennedy know so they may place the order ASAP. They will contact you soon regardless. If you do not have a long black skirt, you may wear nice black pants; they must be full-length pants. Cost for shirt is $40 if you are buying new.
Orchestra ladies that are new, plan to wear a black long-sleeved top and black pants/skirt. If you wish to purchase an official black top, we can certainly order you one. Cost is $40 for the top, ladies. As always, if the cost is an issue, let me know.
