Thursday’s Thoughts from Will 08.16.18

Sunday we are singing/playing “God of Our Praise.” We are also baptizing three young ladies in our 11:00 am service. All three of these girls have parents/grandparents in the choir. What a joy to celebrate together!

We welcomed three new choir members last night and have two new orchestra members joining us Sunday. God continues to build His church for His glory.

Sunday afternoon is our first rehearsal for Christmas at Ivy Creek. The first part of this first rehearsal will be split. Choir will meet in Fellowship Building and Orchestra in the Sanctuary. We will come back together for the last 45 minutes or so of rehearsal. This necessitates that choir members have their CIC packet BEFORE you come to rehearsal or you will have to come through the sanctuary to get your stuff and be late.
As a side note: by 4:20 all doors to both buildings will be locked due to safety concerns. IF you are going to be late, either pre-arrange someone to let you in, or text Deanna at 678-994-4500. Locking these doors allows us to remain safe without having to pay for security.
Be sure you are listening to your music and getting familiar with the rhythmic feel, pitches, and (words). It really helps expedite the rehearsal process if you are able to do this before we begin our rehearsals!

  1. Please add the mother of our daughter in law, Candace, to the prayer list. She has lung cancer. Her name is Vicky.
