Thursday’s Thoughts from Will 08.09.18

Great rehearsals last night. We missed those that weren’t here. I know there still was a lot going on with school beginning and AWANA and Children’s Choir registration, so hopefully things will settle back in next week. The choir got a chance to sightread the commissioned work for our Centennial Celebration. I’m excited about working on it and the message that it clearly states about leaving a legacy of faith to future generations.

Sunday we sing/play “When the Lamb Becomes the Light.” Choir warm-up at 9:10! Orchestra and Praise Team will meet at 8:30.

Here are a few important dates related to Music Ministry in the coming weeks:

Wednesday August 15- All Children’s Choirs resume
Sunday August 19- CIC Rehearsal from 4-6 pm
Wednesday August 22- Youth Choir resumes
Sunday September 2- Choir does not sing for Worship Services
Sunday September 30- Centennial Celebration at 5 pm (rehearsal times forthcoming. We will be premiering our new song “Rise Up and Tell”)

Be sure and check out this week’s Weekly DevotionPrayers, Praise and Birthdays, and Current Worship Order

  1. Where can I find a complete schedule, with specific times, for Wednesday night activities that includes all children’s and adult times? (Awana, children’s choir, adult choir?)
